PACE+ for Adults

Dr. Kevin Patrick led studies to evaluate PACE+ interventions for women (R01CA85873) and men (R01CA98861) based in primary care and using information technology-based materials. Essentially the same measures were used in both. A set of brief surveys were adapted from earlier measures to assess theory-based psychosocial variables related to eating and physical activity, as well as some measures of the behaviors themselves. The publications below report reliability and validity of the PACE+ Adult measures.

The purpose of this manual is to standardize the interview process and to increase agreement among interviewers. A standardized interview helps to decrease error by maintaining consistency across interviewers and limiting an interviewer's bias.
